We are currently looking for a seasoned Backend Lead to spearhead the development of cutting-edge APIs and services using Python and Django. The ideal candidate will oversee the design, development, and optimization of backend systems to drive technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote best practices in system performance, scalability, and security standards while utilizing Python and Django.
  • Develop and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs with robust security measures.
  • Implement data protection protocols, authentication, and authorization methods.
  • Enhance system performance and scalability through continuous monitoring and analysis.
  • Manage cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with product, design, and frontend teams to deliver impactful features, mentor junior developers, and advocate for CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and software engineering best practices.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in backend development, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • Strong expertise in Python and the Django framework.
  • Familiarity with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB.
  • Deep understanding of microservices architecture, APIs, and distributed systems.

The ideal candidate should possess exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
