Key Financial Leadership Role

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the position of Finance Lead. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with experience in managing accounting activities, MIS reporting, and bank reconciliations.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support bookkeeping, MIS reporting, and AR/AP activities for US accounting
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close, and timely reporting of all monthly financial information
  • Support corporate budget and forecasting activities
  • Monitor and analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources, while maintaining high accuracy
  • Advise team members on handling non-routine reporting transactions
  • Work with the auditor to ensure clean and timely year-end audit
  • Supervise the general ledger group to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met
  • Ensure strict compliance with outlined processes and standards, and follow industry best practices
  • Take ownership of their own work and their team, and be accountable for meeting company obligations
  • Responsible for staff scheduling, including work assignments, employee training, and employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignment, backup for absent employees
  • Provide effective, constructive, and timely feedback to their team, set the bar and help teams meet and/or exceed it
  • Provide training to new and existing staff as needed
Requirements
  • Familiarity with US GAAP, accounting procedures, taxation, and other statutory and legal matters enabling core accounting and finance functions effectively
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral), relationship-building skills, and ability to lead and develop others
  • Hands-on experience in QuickBooks, Zoho, and Microsoft Office
  • Immediate Joiner, Qualified/Semi-Qualified CA/CMA
  • Experience in IT/Service Sector
  • Knowledge in US & Indian Taxes
  • Total 4-7 years of experience in finance/accounts with 2-3 years of people management experience
  • Strong financial and accounting background with passion for helping teams get to next level
  • Commerce Graduate, preferably Qualified/Semi-Qualified CA/CMA
