Job Overview

As a Training Manager, you will oversee end-to-end training for Beauty Advisors, field sales, and retail partners to enhance sell-through, service standards, and launch readiness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop curriculum and standard operating procedures for product science, shade matching, regimen building, hygiene, visual merchandising basics, and claims guardrails.
  • Create multi-format content: presentations, playbooks, 2-minute videos, role-plays, quizzes in Hindi and English.
  • Example: The 5x5 pitch for top SKUs; Shade-match in 60 seconds script.
  • Run train-the-trainer sessions, field coaching, and roadshows; monthly masterclasses.
  • Collaborate with Product Development and Research & Development teams to translate ingredient information and benefits into accurate demos; ensure compliant claims.
  • Set up learning management systems/trackers; publish training calendars; report impact using dashboards.
  • Conduct store audits and side-by-sides; address basic skills (grooming, demo rituals, replenishment cues).
  • Hire and manage regional trainers; onboard channel trainers; manage external academies and vendors.
  • Manage the training budget and vendor service level agreements.

Requirements

  • 6–10 years of experience in beauty/personal-care retail training; led pan-India train-the-trainer programs.
  • Strong understanding of makeup and skincare; able to explain INCI and shade science simply.
  • Bilingual: Hindi and English; confident facilitator and on-camera presenter.
  • Data-driven; advanced spreadsheet skills; familiar with learning management systems.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and launches; high comfort level with travel.
  • Plus: Management trainee or executive business owner experience, cosmetology certification, basic visual merchandising knowledge.
