Key Roles and Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of this role will be to oversee the day-to-day operations of all schools, managing administrative duties including infrastructure to ensure a safe environment.

  • Manage administrative activities related to school operations.
  • Requisitions for curriculum support and inventory management within set timelines.
  • Efficiently manage updates with records on student and staff data, circulars, school events, tests, examinations, trips, etc.
  • Establish quality standards for services affecting the domains of teaching and learning and school safety.
  • Create a cooperative relationship between the school and parents through effective interaction and positive issue-resolution.
  • Resolve day-to-day issues with external vendors and agencies within stipulated time frames.
  • Present regular MIS reports to the principal.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Effective management of administrative functions and timely resolution of issues.
  • Operations and logistics management, security, housekeeping, and support staff.
  • Documentation of staff, students, school circulars, events, test, examination schedules, and trips, etc.
  • Maintenance and repairs around the school and grounds.
  • Records and checks on various services such as transport, catering, security, uniforms, and those affecting teaching and learning.
  • Implementation of ancillary management.
  • Ensuring school safety equipment is in top condition.
  • Arranging training programs, workshops, field trips, SPA, sports days, annual concerts, or special days beyond daily requirements.
  • Maintaining a cooperative school-community relationship.
  • Resolving day-to-day issues with external vendors and agencies within stipulated time frames.
  • Regular updating and maintenance of administrative documents.
  • Broughting urgent and important issues to the principal's notice immediately.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
  • 5-8 years' experience, at least 2 years in the education sector.
  • Prior experience in education, telecom, insurance, retail, IT training sectors.
