Inventory Management Consultant Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead the development, implementation, and management of complex inventory solutions utilizing Oracle Unified Inventory Management (UIM).

Main Responsibilities:

  • To design, implement, and configure UIM cartridges.
  • To customize extension points and rule sets for advanced functionality.
  • To model both logical and physical inventory within UIM cartridges.
  • To integrate UIM with upstream and downstream systems using standard and custom web services, UIM APIs, and Software Frameworks (SFWS).
  • To work with UIM Inventory Managers, including Service Manager, Configuration Manager, and Search Criteria Manager.
  • To develop and configure Calculate Technical Actions for various services.
  • To perform code build and deployment for development and testing environments.
  • To troubleshoot and configure base application packages.
  • To maintain technical and process documentation in alignment with organizational standards.
  • To collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • To support end-to-end implementations while ensuring timely delivery and alignment with best practices.

Required Skills & Expertise:

  • Strong expertise in Oracle UIM (7.2.x) is mandatory.
  • Experience in cartridge development, rule set development, and customization is essential.
  • Proficiency in UNIX/Linux environments and Unix shell scripting is required.
  • Core technical skills in Java, PL/SQL, and WebServices (development and debugging) are necessary.
  • Knowledge of network domains such as Wireless, Cable, DSL, and VoIP is desirable.
  • Exposure to Enterprise and Retail Voice/Data/GSM implementations is beneficial.
  • Conceptual modeling knowledge for logical and physical inventory is crucial.
  • Familiarity with Oracle RODOD/RSDOD and TMF/eTOM, SID Data Model standards is preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities are required.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative environment is essential.
  • Quick learner with an aptitude for mastering new products and solutions is necessary.

Education:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Electronics, or Telecommunications is required.
