Job Overview

  • This role supports banking device procurement, import and management of goods in stock.
  • The incumbent will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Evaluate multiple available products/services in the market based on user requirements.
  2. Compare goods/services with industry trends to determine appropriate pricing.
  3. Finalize vendor and cost through request for proposal process, considering user requirement and techno-commercial evaluation.
  4. Support users and legal functions for contract execution from supply chain perspective.
  5. Oversee end-to-end activities related to goods in stock and inventory control management for all banking products/devices.
  6. Coordinate with relevant user functions regularly to understand their requirements/demands and manage sufficient inventories accordingly.
  7. Review existing contracts related to banking products, goods in stock, and inventory control, maintaining a tracker and repository.
  8. Implement cost-saving measures through existing contract negotiation with partners/agencies.
  9. Raise agreement needs (in accordance with contracting guidelines) well in time and ensure renewal before expiry.
  10. Manage imports shipments end-to-end, coordinating with foreign partners, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and customs departments.
  11. Engage with user functions to understand needs and resolve pain points related to purchase, goods in stock, inventory, and imports.
  12. Collaborate with operations to ensure timely vendor purchase order issuance and payment.
  13. Regularly coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of ordered products/services and collect inventory reports daily.
  14. Prepare and publish inventory reports for all products daily.
  15. Assist in data analysis for preparing monthly procurement reports.
  16. Stay updated on industry trends and new products.
  17. Manage vendor partnerships to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10-12 years of experience in sourcing, import, and goods in stock/inventory control management.
  • Knowledge of procurement practices and governance.
  • Experience in collecting and analyzing procurement data.

Qualifications

  • MBA or equivalent qualifications.
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a high-paced dynamic environment and prioritize workload to meet scheduling demands and timelines.
