Job Title: Performance Test Engineer III

This role is for an experienced performance test engineer to join our team in a key position.

  • Key Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • 7+ years of combined Java and JavaScript development and QA experience with performance tools
  • Proficiency in continuous deployment tools & methodology

Responsibilities:

  • Design and analyze performance tests for server, web, and mobile applications
  • Develop and execute test plans using JMeter or other test tools
  • Troubleshoot test system issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and adapt to changing requirements
  • Maintain strong team and communication skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Java, JEE
  • Docker and Kubernetes
  • Database technologies including Cassandra, MySQL, Redis, ElasticSearch
  • Cloud/SAAS Deployment into Google Cloud, AWS, and Azure
  • Physical and virtual Networking

  • DevOps tools such as Helm, Harness, Google Cloud Build, Chef, Terraform
  • High volume systems and performance testing and tuning
  • REST Web Services

We are seeking a highly skilled professional who can design and execute performance tests for our applications. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of combined Java and JavaScript development and QA experience with performance tools.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and analyzing performance tests for server, web, and mobile applications. They will also develop and execute test plans using JMeter or other test tools.

In addition to their technical expertise, the candidate should possess excellent communication and teamwork skills. They must be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders and adapt to changing requirements.

This is a key role that requires a high level of technical expertise and soft skills. We are looking for someone who can bring value to our team and help us deliver high-quality products to our customers.

The preferred skills for this role include proficiency in Java, JEE, Docker, and Kubernetes. Knowledge of database technologies such as Cassandra, MySQL, Redis, and ElasticSearch is also essential.

Other desirable skills include proficiency in DevOps tools such as Helm, Harness, Google Cloud Build, Chef, and Terraform. Experience with cloud/SAAS deployment into Google Cloud, AWS, and Azure is also beneficial.
