**Job Title:** Automotive Systems Specialist

Our company seeks a skilled Automotive Systems Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting complex vehicle systems, as well as developing diagnostic content.

Job Description:

  • Design and create diagnostic content for automotive systems, including engine management, electric & hybrid systems, brake control, infotainment, ADAS, transmission, HVAC, airbags, etc.
  • Analyze vehicle communication bus logs using various analyzers.
  • Develop workflow or test sequences using IDEs like BDX or Grade-X.
  • Implement and evaluate OE diagnostic data in target tester.
  • Conduct on-vehicle validation of implemented diagnostic content and create test reports.
  • Benchmark and reverse engineer aftersales & aftermarket diagnostic testers.
  • Coverage evaluation of aftermarket tester by performing tests on various vehicle brands and systems, in various markets.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, including sub-systems and components.
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot vehicles and make them roadworthy.
  • Understand OE system description, service & repair manuals.
  • Ability to independently handle diagnostic testers.
  • Experience with analyzer & simulation tools from Vector or Samtec.
  • Programming languages skills (good to have).
  • IMSIS+ knowledge (good to have).

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in aftersales vehicle service, diagnostics and troubleshooting preferably in OEM dealerships/workshops.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in automotive diagnostic content development.
  • BE/ B. Tech/ ME/ M. Tech- Automobile/Mechanical qualifications.

Others:

  • Good knowledge on wiring diagrams and conventions.
  • Sound knowledge on CAN, CAN FD, DoIP, UDS, J1939.
