Lead Automotive Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Automotive Engineer to develop in-depth knowledge of Passenger Car Body-In-White (BIW) structure and Assembly.

About the Role:

  • Demonstrate strong expertise in BIW design, manufacturing, and assembly processes.
  • Possess advanced experience in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, specifically UG NX, Parametric Modelling, and surface modelling.
  • Showcase experience in Manufacturing & Joining techniques of BIW structures.
  • Conceptualize and develop innovative BIW panels for the automotive industry.
  • Create Master sections and interpret results of Structural, Static & Dynamic, manufacturing simulations for BIW Components.
  • Understand Design for Manufacturability (DFMA), manufacturing feasibility, tooling feasibility of BIW components.
  • Stay up-to-date with materials science, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), and Stack Up analysis.
  • Effectively manage project plans and teams.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6-8 years of overall experience as a Mechanical Engineer in Passenger Cars.
  • Proficiency in Teamcenter is mandatory.
  • Awareness of prototyping activities and builds.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
