Automotive Closure System Design Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automotive Closure System Design Professional to join our team. As a key member of our design department, you will be responsible for designing and developing front doors, rear doors, tailgates, engine hoods, and fender systems using sheet metal, aluminum extrusions, and plastics parts.

The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of experience in automobile OEM design and development, with expertise in CATIA and PLM software's like Team Center. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to execute complete closure system projects from conceptualization to delivery.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing complex closure systems that meet customer requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborating with engineers, designers, and manufacturers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Analyzing engineering documents such as DFMEA, DVP, DFA, and ensuring technical compliance.
  • Presenting project concepts and results to stakeholders, demonstrating effective communication and presentation skills.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A B.E (Mechanical / Automobile) degree with 4-6 years of experience in closure system design and development.
  • Hands-on experience in CATIA and Team Center, with a strong understanding of CAD/CAM/CAE tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex engineering problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
