  • Maintain profitability for design services, balancing quality and revenue.
  • Deliver high-quality marketing assets that meet brand standards.
  • Drive client retention by ensuring design excellence, responsiveness, and alignment with client needs.
  • Support upsell opportunities by proactively identifying and pitching design-related enhancements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design function, setting quality standards and review processes.
  • Oversee and mentor a team of designers, fostering creativity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with strategy and account teams to deliver impactful, conversion-focused creative.
  • Implement a rigorous quality control process to ensure all deliverables meet performance requirements.
  • Manage resources and timelines to ensure profitable operations and client satisfaction.
  • Act as a senior client-facing leader, building trust and positioning design as a strategic driver.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience of 5-8 years in agency or client-facing roles leading creative/design functions.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in email design, digital banners, ads, and marketing assets.
  • Experience managing design teams with a balance of creativity and operational efficiency.
  • Business acumen with the ability to manage budgets and growth targets.
  • Excellent communication and client management skills; ability to translate business needs into compelling design solutions.
