Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled logistics professional to handle freight management operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to interact effectively with diverse cultural backgrounds, and possess strong leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present proposals to clients on import/export opportunities
  • Coordinate with the operations department and customs brokers for documentation and cargo clearance
  • Release bills of lading for export shipments after sailing of vessels, send pre-arrival documents to overseas agents, and keep customers updated on shipment status
  • Closing dockets with accounts, follow up for export documents with shipping lines and customs brokers
  • Achieve set targets by management, monitor and support the marketing team to achieve targeted goals
  • Provide best solutions for handling oversized cargo and special equipment's, offer competitive breakbulk rates through global association with breakbulk operators, and ensure timely sourcing of vessels for customers' requirements
  • Handle airfreights through an extensive network of carefully selected airlines to provide global coverage for shipments meeting tight customer deadlines
  • Based on long-term relationships with major shipping lines, provide best solutions to customers in terms of competitive freight rates, transit time, security, and services worldwide
