We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in Alwar, India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lease accounting and technical accounting, with experience working with U.S. GAAP.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support our technical and operational lease accounting function to ensure complete and accurate financial close, internal, and external reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP (ASC 842) and internal controls for the accurate and timely payment / billing of leases.
  • Perform analysis of legal documents and determine lease classification in accordance with U.S. GAAP ASC 842.
  • Review lease classification testing in accordance with U.S. GAAP ASC 842.
  • Collaborate with senior staff on a regular basis.
  • Complete month-end close processes including subledger work in CoStar, general ledger entries, and internal and external financial reporting deliverables.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure accurate accounting and reporting of lease transactions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
  • Chartered Accountant preferred.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of public accounting or large multinational company accounting experience.
  • Experience with general ledger accounting systems (Oracle Cloud preferred).
  • Proficient understanding of U.S. GAAP-based financial accounting (ASC 842, Lease Accounting, experience preferred).
