Senior Memory Architect Position

As a highly skilled Memory Layout Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and optimizing memory layouts for custom memories. This includes leaf cell level and top-level integration of SRAM and Register Files.

You will work closely with circuit designers to understand schematics and translate them into optimized layouts, leveraging your expertise in floor-planning, placement, matching, routing, parasitics, and layout constraints.

A strong understanding of physical verification checks (DRC, LVS, ERC) and reliability checks (EM, IR) is essential. You should also have experience with advanced process nodes 5nm and below.

Scripting experience in SKILL, Python, or TCL is preferable, as well as knowledge of high-performance and/or low-power memory layout optimization techniques.

With a minimum of 5 years of experience in memory layout design, you should possess a strong skill set in custom-based memories or compiler-based memories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and optimize memory layouts for custom memories
  • Collaborate with circuit designers to translate schematics into optimized layouts
  • Develop and maintain expertise in floor-planning, placement, matching, routing, parasitics, and layout constraints
  • Perform physical verification checks and reliability checks
  • Stay up-to-date with advanced process nodes and technologies

Preferred Qualifications:
