Job Title: Head of Actuarial

This role is a leadership position in the actuarial department. The successful candidate will have expertise in pricing, risk management, and financial modeling.

The head of actuarial will be responsible for leading a team of actuaries in the insurance industry.

  • Provide expert guidance on pricing, risk management, and product development
  • Develop and implement actuarial models for life insurance pricing and risk assessment
  • Maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements and ensure compliance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business strategy and decision-making

Key skills required for this position include:

  • 8-10 years of experience in the actuarial field
  • Extensive experience in life insurance pricing, risk management, and actuarial modeling
  • Proficiency in actuarial software and financial modeling tools
  • PREFERRED: Experience in insurance broking and demonstrated leadership skills
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of actuarial principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
