Electronics Engineering Job Description

The primary role of a PCB Design Engineer is to create innovative and high-quality Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) that meet product specifications.

Responsibilities include:
  • Designing and developing PCB layouts using specialized software and tools.
  • Creating schematic diagrams and bills of materials to ensure accurate production planning.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement PCB designs and resolve any issues during prototyping and production stages.
  • Performing design rule checks and signal integrity analysis to guarantee the reliability and performance of the PCBs.
  • Generating Gerber and assembly files for manufacturing purposes.
Requirements include:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics or a related field, such as Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in PCB design, preferably with a strong background in electronics engineering.
  • Proficiency in Altium or other relevant PCB design software.
  • Strong understanding of PCB fabrication processes and technologies, including material selection and manufacturing techniques.
  • Experience with design rule checks and signal integrity analysis to ensure the reliability and performance of the PCBs.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
