Advanced Hardware Engineer Position

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Senior Electronics Specialist in the development of complex electronic systems.

About the Role
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent skills in Electronic Systems design, Electronics Troubleshooting, and Electronic Testing.
  • A strong understanding of microprocessors, architectural circuit design, and different micro-controller circuit designs is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sound knowledge about high speed microprocessors, architectural circuit design, and different micro-controller circuit designs.
  • Strong analog and digital circuit knowledge, circuit simulations.
  • Experience in power over line communications and faults detections.
  • Estimating hardware design tasks, identifying risks, and planning development.
  • Proficient at creating, interpreting, and reviewing electrical schematics.
  • Strong knowledge in SPI, I2C, USB, 232/485 Serial and Ethernet interface designs.
  • PCB materials, fabrications process, and assembly/manufacturing knowledge of PCB/PCBA and DFX methods/definitions.
  • Extensive experience using diagnostic tools oscilloscope, variac load resistors, AC/DC supplies.
  • Proficient in using PCB CAD and circuit simulators and analysis tools – Mentor Graphics, SPICE, PSPICE, and HSPICE.
  • Coordinate with software/Firmware teams on designs and development of products and systems.
  • Highly self-motivated with a strong multi-disciplinary background.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, autonomously driven, and demanding environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Requirements
  • MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in hardware design and development.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong understanding of electronic circuits, systems, and software development.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
