Job Overview

The position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a critical role within our organization, requiring an experienced and strategic finance leader to oversee the company's financial health and drive its long-term goals.

The CFO will be responsible for managing the financial actions of the company, including accounting and treasury activities, tracking cash flow, financial planning, and analyzing the company's financial strengths and weaknesses.

This role involves developing and implementing financial strategies to support the company's objectives, preparing and approving all financial reporting metrics, and monitoring the implementation of strategic business plans.

The CFO will also prepare and present financial statements and reports, conduct financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as ensure efficient operation of the finance function, managing cash flow and expense control processes.

A key aspect of this role is understanding and mitigating key elements of the company's risk profile, monitoring open legal issues, and constructing and monitoring reliable control systems.

The CFO will manage relationships with investors and investment institutions, represent the company with bankers and investors, and raise additional capital as necessary to fund the company's expansion.

Furthermore, the CFO will ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with applicable regulations, report financial results to relevant stakeholders, and oversee the company's transaction processing systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's long-term goals.
  • Prepare and approve all financial reporting metrics.
  • Manage cash flow and expense control processes.
  • Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans.
  • Understand and mitigate key elements of the company's risk profile.
  • Raise additional capital as necessary to fund the company's expansion.

Qualifications:

  • CA/CPA/CMA or equivalent professional qualification is highly desirable.
  • Minimum 15 years of progressively responsible financial leadership roles.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of corporate finance, accounting principles, and risk management.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and forecasting.
  • Excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage, lead, and develop teams and coordinate with other functional teams.
