Ground Zero is a dynamic nonprofit organization that aims to empower children from vulnerable backgrounds with essential skills to overcome poverty and become effective learners through Social-Emotional Learning (SEL). We are dedicated to co-creating and implementing SEL programs at scale in partnership with Indian State Governments. As one of India's fastest-growing nonprofits, our mission is to impact 30 Million vulnerable children by 2030. Currently, we have partnered with the Governments of Delhi, Uttarakhand, Tripura to co-create and ensure the implementation of programs that impact 2.4 Million children across 22,000+ government schools in India daily.

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to support us in establishing Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) processes, designing program monitoring systems, and conducting analysis to inform decision-making for our programs. The successful candidate will have a strong background in data analysis using Excel or other statistical tools and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelors/Masters degree in education, economics, policy, social science, or equivalent, with a foundational understanding of mathematical and statistical concepts. Prior experience in Education, Research, Monitoring, and Evaluation is preferred, as well as fluency in both English and Gujarati (written and spoken).

Responsibilities:

  • Support in establishing MEL processes and setting up program monitoring systems
  • Designing and contextualising test instruments for effective data collection
  • Conducting analysis and creating visualisations of qualitative and quantitative data to support decision-making
  • Designing detailed training modules and leading training of enumerators for on-ground data collection
  • Ensuring periodic data collection and creating cyclic reports for data-driven decision-making
  • Contributing to the preparation of monitoring and evaluation reports to disseminate findings and learnings
