Senior Labour Relations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Labour Relations Manager to join our team at Larsen & Toubro. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing industrial relations policies that align with our organizational goals and comply with applicable labour laws.
Key Responsibilities- Industrial Relations Policy Development: Collaborate with senior management to create and implement comprehensive industrial relations policies that promote positive labour relations and ensure compliance with local, state, and national labour laws.
- Labour Law Compliance: Stay up-to-date with changes in labour laws and regulations, ensuring our organization remains compliant and mitigates potential risks associated with non-compliance.
- Union Management: Develop and maintain effective relationships with unions, negotiate collective bargaining agreements, and handle disputes or negotiations in a fair and professional manner.
- Conflict Resolution: Facilitate resolution of workplace conflicts, grievances, and disputes between management and employees, promoting a positive work environment and resolving issues promptly.
- Employee Advocacy: Advocate for fair treatment of employees, ensuring their rights are protected and addressing concerns promptly.
- Negotiation and Contract Management: Lead negotiations for employment contracts, terms, and conditions, aiming for mutually beneficial agreements that support both the organization's interests and employee well-being.
- Investigations and Mediation: Conduct investigations into alleged policy violations, discrimination, harassment, or other employee-related issues, and act as a mediator in labour disputes to facilitate discussions and find mutually acceptable solutions.
- Training and Development: Develop and conduct training programs on industrial relations policies, labour laws, and conflict resolution for both employees and management, promoting a culture of understanding and respect.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in industrial relations, preferably in a large corporation like Larsen & Toubro.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful industrial relations policies and practices.
- Excellent knowledge of local, state, and national labour laws and regulations.
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills, with ability to build trust and rapport with stakeholders.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- A competitive salary range of ₹1,200,000 - ₹1,800,000 per annum, based on experience.
