Oracle Apps DBA Job

About the Position:

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Apps DBA to join our team. As an Oracle Apps DBA, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and upgrading Oracle server software and related products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle server software and related products.
  • Monitor application-related products like OACore, OAFM, Apache, etc.
  • Establish and maintain backup and recovery policies and procedures.
  • Design and implement databases.
  • Implement and maintain database security, including user management and privilege assignment.
  • Provide 24/7 support as part of a team when required.
  • Perform general technical troubleshooting and offer consultation to development teams.
  • Interface with Oracle Corporation for technical support.
  • Patch management and version control.
  • Optimize database and application performance through monitoring and tuning.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2 and applications knowledge in Supply Chain and Financials.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Database releases 12.1.0.2 through 19c.
  • Experience with Demantra Administration.
  • Knowledge of Exadata and Data Guard.
  • Proficiency in PL/SQL and Linux scripting.
  • Oracle Access Manager integration with EBS and Demantra (a plus).
  • General database skills.
  • Knowledge in any of the following is a plus:
  • DB2
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • Oracle GoldenGate
