Front Office Operations Manager

The Front Office Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Front Office department. This includes coordinating with various other departments to provide personalized, prompt, and flawless service to all guests. The successful candidate will act as a 'One Point Contact' for all in-house guests, handling guest requests, complaints, or feedback.
Key Responsibilities
Staffing and scheduling of shifts and allocation of duties
Implementing systems and procedures to achieve higher cost efficiency and guest satisfaction
Facilitating learning and development for all team members
Performance appraisal and management of staff in the department
Operational Responsibilities
Maintaining the Log Book and effective follow-up system
Checking the daily arrival list and monitoring VIP movement
Ensuring a pleasant stay for guests by supervising room allocation, smooth check-in and check-out, and special guest requirements
Coordinating with Security and Housekeeping to ensure security, hygiene, and aesthetic standards are met
Acting as a 'One Point Contact' for guests, interacting with them to solicit feedback
Preparing reports on occupancy, average rates, reservations, etc.
Ensuring prompt, efficient, and accurate service to all guests
Maintaining the Guest History System and updating guest profiles
Monitoring the business of competition hotels in terms of new accounts and rates
Ensuring all operational standards are followed
Ensuring norms, procedures, and systems for safety and security of guest belongings are followed
Ensuring all statutory requirements for in-house guests are met
Requirements
