Job Description

Our team is seeking a skilled Hardware Design Engineer to drive the development of innovative automotive audio systems.

  • This role involves designing and selecting next-generation hardware components, working closely with vehicle architecture teams, safety engineers, and procurement specialists to ensure seamless integration and high-quality sound.
  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in recommending electronic audio components, including amplifiers, microphones, and digital signal processing units, as well as experience with acoustic measurement instruments and audio data acquisition systems.
  • They will also be responsible for collaborating with silicon vendors to drive design features and technology roadmaps, supporting HW Engineering during advanced design phases, and ensuring compliance with relevant automotive safety and quality standards.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have a B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech degree in Electrical/Electronics, Telecommunication, or equivalent Engineering discipline, along with a minimum 3+ years of experience in automotive embedded electronics designs or hardware/system architectural roles.

  • Knowledge of in-vehicle infotainment systems, audio systems, and ECU design, development, and testing is essential, as is a strong teamwork spirit, excellent oral and written communication skills, and a willingness to adapt to new technologies and challenges.

Preferred qualifications include experience in the automotive industry, understanding of board software, audio DSP, and MCUs, as well as knowledge of safety standards and security regulations.
