The role of an Audio Visual Specialist is pivotal in ensuring seamless communication and collaboration within organizations.

This position requires a skilled professional with experience in deploying audio visual solutions, holding certifications such as CTS/CTS-D, Microsoft MTR, Poly, Crestron, and Extron.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks including:

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting thorough requirements gathering from end-users or customers for AV-related projects.
  • Designing innovative solutions based on received briefs or gathered requirements.
  • Obtaining business approval for AV proposals.
  • Providing final designs to stakeholders for quote generation.
  • Evaluating technical and commercial proposals from vendors.
  • Coordinating project timelines for implementation once a purchase order is issued to the AV vendor.
  • Verifying drawings received from vendors, preferably with intermediate-level knowledge of AutoCAD.
  • Collaborating with internal teams (Civil and MEP) for room readiness required for AV system deployment.
  • Ensuring timely delivery according to purchase orders by following up with vendors.
  • Coordinating end-to-end project execution with vendors and internal teams, follow-up, and close-out of all dependencies.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction with project execution.
  • Maintaining extensive project documentation throughout project lifecycles.
  • Performing quality checks on physical installations.
  • Testing and commissioning AV systems.
  • Taking handover from vendors with proper documents, as-built drawings, operation manuals, and equipment specification sheets, to be uploaded to a central repository.
  • Assisting asset management teams in verifying deliveries according to purchase orders and providing asset tags for equipment.
  • Providing handover of projects to operations teams/customers with proper training on installed system usage.
  • Offering remote first-level support for maintenance calls.
  • If necessary, visiting project sites to address issues or troubleshoot.
  • Conducting periodic health checks of AV systems and providing inputs on improvements if required.
  • Conducting extensive proof-of-concepts for the latest technologies.
