Job Description:

As a seasoned software professional, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of microservices-based applications.

  • Develop and implement test changes in microservices-based applications, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Conduct design reviews for new applications to ensure adherence to software development standards.
  • Provide cross-functional training and facilitate information sharing among team members.
  • Recommend new software development technologies and processes to enhance team efficiency.
  • Perform unit testing on all application functionalities and support integration and load testing activities.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of project goals.
  • Participate in requirement gathering and functional specification activities to translate business requirements into technical designs.
  • Resolve and mitigate production application issues to ensure seamless service delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Must have 8+ years of experience in Core Java, Java 8, Multithreading, Collections, and Memory management. Additionally, 2+ years of lead experience and expertise in building RESTful microservices are required.

  • Sound knowledge of AWS-based microservices, NoSQL databases, and AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS, Dynamo, and Gradle.
  • Experience in writing unit tests (Junit, Mockito) and integration tests (RestAssured, Wiremock).
  • Proficiency in automated functional testing using tools like Cucumber.
  • Good understanding of building CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins.
  • Well-versed in Agile methodology.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with both business and technical teams.
