We are seeking a seasoned Fundraising Leader to spearhead our fundraising efforts across high-net-worth individuals, corporate social responsibility, foundations, and digital giving.

This is an exceptional opportunity to leverage your expertise in developing and implementing strategic fundraising plans that drive growth and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Fundraising Strategy & Implementation:
  • Develop a comprehensive 3-year fundraising strategy with clear targets and objectives by segment and program.
  • Own the donor lifecycle, from research to qualification, cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and renewal/upgrade.
  • Design multi-year giving vehicles, including anchor gifts, challenge funds, catalytic grants, cause marketing, events, and peer-to-peer initiatives.
  • Create a balanced pipeline with early, mid, and late-stage prospects.
Partnerships & External Relations:
  • Represent our organization with credibility and build trust with diverse stakeholders.
  • Secure strategic Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with corporations, foundations, and high-influence networks in India and abroad.
  • Co-create bespoke propositions, including naming opportunities, programmatic investments, research/endowment funds.
Brand & Communications:
  • Partner with Communications to develop and execute an integrated brand + fundraising calendar.
  • Oversee investment-grade proposals, decks, impact reports, ensuring crisp narratives and strong evidence.
  • Build crisis-ready messaging and success-story pipelines that convert interest to commitments.
Team, Systems & Governance:
  • Lead fundraising efforts across the organization.
  • Collaborate with global teams to achieve common goals.
  • Implement a CRM or DMS (Salesforce/Zoho or equivalent).
  • Establish clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), approval matrices, and data hygiene protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with Indian and international regulations.
Budgeting, Reporting & KPIs:
  • Own the fund development budget, tracking ROI by channel.
  • Provide monthly board-ready dashboards: funds raised vs target, pipeline health, donor retention/upgrade.

Success Metrics:

  1. Board-approved 3-year strategy and year-1 operating plan with segment-wise targets.
  2. Live CRM with X number of qualified prospects.

Annual Performance Indicators:

  1. Total funds raised vs plan.
  2. Renewal rate (≥70% by value for renewable donors); upgrade rate (≥20%).
  3. Others as discussed with leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Master's in Marketing/Business/Communications or related; fundraising certifications a plus.
  • 8–10+ years of direct fundraising with a proven major-gifts and institutional track record (India & international).
  • Experience launching or scaling new initiatives (research, education, skill development, community empowerment preferred).
  • Strong grasp of donor management, digital marketing, brand positioning, and campaign/event orchestration.
  • Regulatory fluency and governance sensibility.
  • Excellent written/oral communication; G-Suite & CRM proficiency.

Remuneration:

Remuneration will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and expertise.
