Job Title: Workforce Optimization Specialist

The Workforce Optimization Specialist is responsible for ensuring compliance with Contract Labour Act and Factory Act while optimizing the utilization of contractor workforce. This role also involves supervising factory housekeeping services to be delivered as per Service Level Agreement (SLA).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance to Factory Act and Statutory Returns regarding Factories Act.
  • Optimize the utilization of contractor workforce.
  • Supervise factory housekeeping services.

Key Result Areas:

  1. Welfare and Discipline
    1. Execute responsibilities of a designated Welfare officer as per statutory requirements.
    2. Enforce discipline among contract workers regarding dress code, helmet wearing, and safe practices.
    3. Persuade contract workers to avoid alcohol and tobacco products in plant premises during duty hours.
  2. Cost Control
    1. Assist in monitoring and controlling overtime of workmen.
    2. Monitor actual expenditure with budget.
  3. Social Securities
    1. Re-issue ID cards to contract workmen based on due diligence regarding age, medical certificate, police verification, ESIC, PF Code, and bank account number.
  4. Statutory Compliances
    1. Renew employer license for deployment of CW.
    2. Issue form V to contractor for deployment.
  5. MIS - Budgeting
    1. Prepare MIS data pertaining to Contract Workforce deployment.
    2. Prepare Contract Labour Budget.
  6. Salary - Wages Preparation
    1. Collect data related to salary and wages preparation.
    2. Manage deductions and provide input to accounts.
