Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Laboratory Operations Coordinator to join our team.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent laboratory management skills, with experience in supervising daily operations, resolving technical issues, and coordinating lab assignments.

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to provide training to laboratory analysts and maintain accurate records for quality control samples.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily laboratory operations, ensuring accurate analysis at all times.
  • Resolve technical issues that arise from routine analysis and collaborate with the Head of Laboratory on critical matters.
  • Schedule and coordinate lab assignments for Analysts/Lab Technicians.
  • Receive, compile, and verify data from lab testing, maintaining accurate records for quality control samples.
  • Analyze and compile quality control sample results to ensure accuracy and operating efficiency.
  • Provide training to laboratory analysts.
  • Maintain lab equipment and supply inventory, performing instrument calibrations and verifications as scheduled.
  • Assist the Laboratory Manager in their absence.
  • Investigate and implement corrective actions for non-conforming results.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biochemistry, or Biotechnology.
  • 5-7 years of experience in the service industry.
