Senior Design Coordinator Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Design Coordinator to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our design department, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our design projects from inception to completion.

In this capacity, you will work closely with our Head of Design to manage multi-sector design deliverables, ensuring adherence to established guidelines, brand standards, and timely execution. Your expertise will be instrumental in creating and updating our Design Playbook, incorporating lessons learned, benchmark standards, and evolving best practices.

  • You will conduct thorough test fits and feasibilities on new land proposals, leveraging your analytical skills to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • As a coordinator, you will lead the coordination across consultants and design disciplines, fostering strong relationships and ensuring seamless collaboration.
  • Your attention to detail and quality assurance will guarantee timely delivery and high-quality design from concept to GFC.
  • You will validate design compliance with branding, standardization, and sustainability benchmarks, providing expert guidance and support where needed.
  • Your responsibilities will also include supporting the implementation of SOPs and version control, ensuring consistency and efficiency throughout the design process.
  • You will flag deviations and escalate unresolved design issues, demonstrating proactive problem-solving skills and a commitment to excellence.
  • Finally, you will review submissions for technical accuracy and alignment with approved plans, upholding the highest standards of quality and integrity.

As a Senior Design Coordinator, you will serve as a central engine driving design standardization, enabling faster rollout across our expansion strategy. Reporting & Collaboration

You will report directly to the Head of Design and partner closely with Project Management (PMO), Pre-development, and Construction teams for successful project delivery. Your ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively will be essential in achieving our shared goals.

Key Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in design management across Commercial, Residential, or Mixed-use projects.
  • Strong coordination, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with a proven track record of delivering design projects from inception to completion.
  • Knowledge of branding, standardization, and sustainability benchmarks, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for quality.
  • Proven expertise in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
