Urban Project Coordinator Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Urban Project Coordinator to support our urban initiatives. This role is ideal for a professional with a passion for creating people-centered spaces and strong project coordination skills.

The selected candidate will contribute to the development and implementation of projects focused on sustainable urban design, complete streets, and community engagement.

  • Support the development and execution of urban landscape and complete streets projects, ensuring timely delivery and effective resource allocation.
  • Conduct site visits and gather data to inform project planning and design.
  • Assist in preparing design concepts, presentations, and reports related to complete street projects.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, including government agencies, community groups, and consultants, to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Organize and facilitate community consultations and workshops to gather valuable feedback.
  • Research best practices in urban landscape design and complete streets to support project development.
  • Analyze data to evaluate project outcomes and inform future initiatives.
  • Prepare project documentation, progress reports, and presentations.
  • Coordinate logistical aspects of project-related events and activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban Planning, Urban Design, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in urban planning, landscape design, or project coordination.
  • Solid understanding of urban planning principles and sustainable development practices.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, GIS) is desirable.
