Job Title:

Saplings HR is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Program Manager to join their team.

As a Senior Program Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

  • Act as the single point of contact for critical project decisions.
  • Manage stakeholders effectively, including senior officials, funders, partners, and state governments.
  • Monitor project timelines, progress, risks, dependencies, and delegate responsibilities efficiently.
  • Develop strategic and short-term project plans, utilizing tools for monitoring progress and managing escalations.

Cross-functional Support:

  • Lead collaboration across teams to ensure sufficient backend support and internal alignment within initiatives.
  • Analyze data to identify trends across multiple programs, contributing to organizational learning.
  • Document program activities, monitor data, develop case studies, and compile evidence of outcomes.
  • Review expenditures to ensure adherence to budgets and implement an effective Monitoring and Evaluation system in collaboration with the M&E team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • 8-10 years of experience in program management, preferably with exposure to managing projects involving senior government functionaries.
  • Proficient in data monitoring and analysis, with a strong ability to interpret and utilize data to inform decision-making.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to create and execute strategic and short-term project plans.
