Lead IT Infrastructure Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead IT Infrastructure Manager to oversee the design, implementation, deployment and maintenance of network infrastructure. This role will ensure the continuous and secure flow of data between operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT) systems.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and managing large-scale production network deployments, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless solutions. Strong knowledge of network security practices and protocols, including VPN, intrusion detection, and VLAN management is essential.

This role requires experience in implementing OT/IT network integration and proficiency in managing both wired and wireless network infrastructure. The ability to manage vendor relationships and drive continuous improvements in network performance is crucial.

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field is required. 10+ years of experience in managing production floor network infrastructure in manufacturing or industrial environments is also necessary.

The successful candidate will possess strong communication and project management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners. Key attributes include:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing and deploying network infrastructure that ensures high availability, low latency, redundancy and security
  • Collaborating with production and IT teams to align network infrastructure with the operational needs of continuous production processes
  • Leading the installation and configuration of routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting network performance
  • Planning and executing network upgrades, expansions, and modernization initiatives
  • Ensuring network scalability to support future production needs and business growth
  • Implementing and enforcing network security policies and controls
  • Managing relationships with network vendors and external partners
