Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Operations Lead to oversee and manage our company's cloud infrastructure. This role requires a strategic thinker with leadership skills and a deep understanding of IT infrastructure technologies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for deploying, monitoring, maintaining, and supporting all cloud-based systems. They will also evaluate the security, scalability, and reliability of cloud infrastructure and collaborate with internal teams to design and implement cloud solutions that meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy, monitor, maintain, and support all cloud-based systems.
  • Evaluate the security, scalability, and reliability of cloud infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to design and implement cloud solutions that meet business needs.
  • Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers.
  • Negotiate contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and pricing.
  • Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems.
  • Ensure the availability, performance, and security of IT systems.
  • Implement IT policies and procedures to ensure efficient and secure operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical Expertise:
    • Deep knowledge of IT infrastructure components, including servers, networks, storage, and virtualization technologies.
    • Proficiency in cloud computing platforms and services.
    • Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
  • Management Skills:
    • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Experience in budgeting and financial management for IT projects.
    • Ability to develop and implement IT policies and procedures.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving:
    • Strong analytical skills to assess and troubleshoot complex IT issues.
    • Ability to make data-driven decisions and implement effective solutions.
  • Communication and Collaboration:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
    • Strong negotiation skills for vendor management.
