Job Description

We are seeking a talented Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a highly critical operational role, applying a combination of software and systems engineering skills to develop and maintain distributed, real-time systems that serve key stakeholders in our global business.

Your primary focus will be on optimizing the operations of existing systems and infrastructure through automation and tooling, ensuring efficiency and scalability. You will also build out foundational technical components of a robust SRE program across multiple complex systems, both new and existing.

Collaboration with development and quant teams is essential to ensure changes align with measurable Service Level Objectives (SLOs) across user interactions. You will monitor system capacity and performance, identifying and addressing potential bottlenecks and sources of instability before they affect stakeholders.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, analyzing their impact on infrastructure and service operations.
  • Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders, evaluating and selecting the best technologies and automation strategies for our needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need demonstrated work experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or in a similar role. Strong coding skills in Python and PowerShell are essential, along with the ability to comprehend C# and develop basic applications.

You should have experience with Windows and Linux operating systems, cloud-based services and infrastructure (AWS), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and Configuration Management (Ansible). Container technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, AWS EKS, and ECS are also crucial.
