General Manager Operations Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled General Manager – Operations to oversee the end-to-end operations of an apparel manufacturing business.

This role will provide strategic leadership in production, supply chain, quality, sustainability, and workforce management while driving continuous improvement to achieve business growth and customer satisfaction.

  • Operational Leadership: Lead day-to-day operations across production, planning, sourcing, warehousing, and distribution functions.
  • Production Management: Lead daily factory operations including production, planning, finishing, and dispatch.
  • Planning & Coordination: Oversee production planning and material flow to meet customer order timelines.
  • Quality & Compliance: Implement and monitor strict quality control measures across all production stages.
  • Cost & Efficiency Control: Drive cost reduction through waste minimization, process optimization, and improved productivity.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field and at least 15+ years of experience in apparel manufacturing with a proven track record in lean manufacturing, supply chain optimization, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  4. Reduce Costs: Drive cost reduction through waste minimization, process optimization, and improved productivity.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 15+ years of experience in apparel manufacturing.
  • Proven track record in lean manufacturing, supply chain optimization, and operational excellence.
