Manufacturing Process Manager

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Manufacturing Process Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the vendor development process, identifying vendors, conducting vendor visits, and implementing projects to successful conclusion.

As a key member of our team, you will establish accountability, timelines, and goals, and handle challenges in projects, especially in vendor development area for product and process-oriented manufacturing. You will deliver improvement in overall value, quality, cost, delivery, and performance from subcontracts.

Additionally, you will collaborate with stakeholders to develop subcontractor partners' commercial and skillsets required to support and drive strategy. You will evaluate assigned contracts to identify, document, and manage key prime contract and subcontract risks in relation to scope, schedule, and terms through the life of the project.

Other responsibilities include coordinating closely with design, techno-commercial, and engineering operations for continuity and overall program effectiveness, ensuring that subcontract internal estimates are completed using internal standard norms for benchmarking purposes prior to award of the subcontracts.

Lastly, you will develop and maintain an approved subcontractors list for the project and help update the company's subcontractor database, verifying invoices submitted by subcontractors in accordance with methods of measurement defined in the subcontract.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 4 years of experience in B.E. Mechanical Production
  • Strong knowledge of various manufacturing processes
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Stainless steel manufacturing experience
  • Preferred basic CAD 3D Modelling knowledge
