Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory records, performing regular reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

They will oversee stock movement accounting, including inward, outward, returns, damages, and inter-store transfers. Additionally, they will monitor and reconcile inventory across sales channels, including retail stores, marketplaces, and D2C websites.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with accounting software and advanced Excel skills, as well as a good understanding of taxation and compliance (GST, TDS).

  • Monitor and reconcile inventory across sales channels.
  • Oversee stock movement accounting.
  • Ensure accurate valuation of inventory.
  • Identify inventory discrepancies and coordinate with Operations & Merchandising to resolve issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
  • 2-3 years of experience in accounts (preferably semi qualified CA), with strong exposure to inventory control/reconciliation.
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software (Tally, ERP Next systems) and advanced Excel.
  • Good understanding of taxation and compliance (GST, TDS).
