Business Transformation Lead

Job Description:

The role of Business Transformation Lead involves driving strategic initiatives that propel profitable growth for our organization's Health, Wealth, and Career businesses globally. As a key member of the team, you will engage with senior stakeholders to foster a culture of continuous improvement across a global organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage complex international programs and projects to ensure successful delivery of strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with C-Suite executives to secure effective buy-in and allocate necessary organizational resources.
  • Develop detailed program delivery roadmaps, incorporating resources, outcomes, schedules, costs, assumptions, dependencies, and business integration plans.
  • Design and implement target operating models (TOM) to align with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in design and delivery, providing guidance and support to the wider business in defining the right approaches and ensuring solutions are fit for purpose.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with senior business partners and third-party vendors, facilitating timely decision-making and trade-offs.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and issues transparently to key stakeholders, providing regular updates and escalating as necessary.
  • Ensure overall program delivery meets quality standards and objectives by adhering to defined governance structures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of professional services experience, with a minimum of 5 years related experience in designing and implementing changes to operating models, preferably in a management consulting setup.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Program Manager leading large and complex programs across matrix structured organizations, ideally across continents/regions.
  • Proven track record in managing and coordinating implementation with teams across different locations, including off-shoring/near-shoring teams.
  • Strong understanding of change management principles and the ability to drive sustainable changes within the organization.
  • Excellent communication and diplomacy skills, with the ability to guide, influence, and convince colleagues, leaders, and external stakeholders.
  • Highly resourceful with outstanding problem-solving skills, able to drive innovative approaches to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Analytical and quantitative mindset, using data and insights to shape direction and make informed decisions.
  • Change management credentials, including experience leading people and clients through change journeys.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to operate and influence at the C-Suite level.
  • Demonstrated experience in target operating models (TOM) and organizational change programs.

What Makes You Stand Out:

  • MBA or equivalent qualification is preferred.
  • Relevant program management qualification, such as MSP/PMI/APM, is highly desirable.
  • Experience in Employee Benefits / Pensions / Investments or HR Consulting business and solutions is highly desirable but not essential.
