Senior Account Manager Job Opportunity

This position is for an experienced Senior Account Manager to drive business growth and performance by building strategic relationships with financial institution partners.

  • Build trust-based relationships with partners to align with their goals and Water.org's mission.
  • Lead the implementation of partner-facing programs, including onboarding, capacity building, product design, marketing support, and impact tracking.
  • Provide technical guidance and advisory support to partners on inclusive financial products and delivery models.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree, at least 7 years of experience in microfinance or rural banking, and demonstrated experience managing MFI partnerships and large loan portfolios.

The successful candidate will be able to:

  • Optimize work processes to achieve continuous improvement.
  • Communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
  • Nimble learning through experimentation when tackling new problems.

This role requires ability to manage multiple complex internal and external relationships, application of existing standards and processes related to account management and/or business development.

Travel up to 25% of the time both domestically and internationally.
