About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Revenue Optimization Manager to join our team.

In this critical role, you will play a key part in driving revenue growth across all online travel agency (OTA) platforms. Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing effective rate strategies, optimizing inventory distribution, and monitoring competitive pricing to ensure our hotels maintain a strong market position.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Revenue & Rate Strategy Development

You will design and implement dynamic pricing strategies for all hotels, ensuring competitive positioning on OTA platforms through rate parity and smart discounting. This will involve closely monitoring daily pick-up trends, booking pace, and adjusting rates proactively to meet revenue targets.

  • OTA Channel Management Excellence

You will manage property listings across OTAs, ensuring accuracy in content, images, and promotions. This will also involve maximizing visibility on OTAs by leveraging campaigns, sponsored listings, and promotions, as well as coordinating with OTAs for better positioning and marketing opportunities.

  • Inventory Optimization Expertise

You will ensure real-time inventory accuracy across all OTAs, managing overbooking risks by balancing inventory between OTAs, the direct website, and offline channels. Additionally, you will optimize room allocation to achieve 100% occupancy on high-demand days while maintaining rate integrity.

  • Market Intelligence Analysis

You will conduct daily competitor rate analysis and prepare weekly comp-set reports. You will track industry demand patterns, city events, and seasonality to forecast occupancy and recommend packages, add-ons, and upselling strategies based on market demand.

  • Reporting & Data Analysis

You will prepare daily/weekly/monthly revenue reports including ADR, RevPAR, and Occupancy. You will monitor OTA production reports, cancellation trends, and conversion ratios, and present insights and recommendations to senior management.

  • Team Leadership & Guidance

You will supervise and guide the OTA executives and the reservation team, ensuring adherence to company policies and discipline norms. You will also conduct training sessions on OTA tools, upselling, and revenue optimization.

  • Guest Service Alignment

You will support the reservation and front office teams in handling escalated booking queries, ensuring a smooth guest booking experience across OTAs.

  • Relationship Building

You will maintain strong relationships with OTA market managers, negotiating better commission structures, visibility boosters, and promotional support.

  • Industry Participation

You will attend hotel revenue forums, workshops, and OTA partner events to stay updated on market trends.

Candidate Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4-5 years of proven experience in OTA revenue management/hotel distribution / online sales.
  • Strong knowledge of OTAs, channel managers, and hotel PMS.
  • Expertise in dynamic pricing, forecasting, and yield management.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet revenue targets.
  • Leadership qualities to guide a sales/revenue team.
