This is an esteemed position in our organization that will make a significant contribution to FACTS Projects in Grid Technology.
How You Will Make an Impact
- We are seeking a highly skilled professional with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical or Electronics, and 2-3 years of experience in engineering control logic programs for various FACTS solutions.
- Adequate knowledge of Open Loop Control systems is essential.
- You will be responsible for establishing test set-ups in the factory.
What You Bring to the Table
- You should have expertise in configuring hardware/software used for control systems.
- Adequate knowledge of electrical substation components is necessary.
- Crafting documents like design reports, test reports, and operation maintenance manuals is a key responsibility.
- After-sales support for already commissioned systems is also required.
- Understanding the behavior of different types of FACTS devices and their roles in the power system is crucial for this role.
- Proficiency in analog-to-digital converters and fiber optics is desired.
- Ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams is essential.
- Knowledge of different communication protocols like IEC61850, IEC-104, IEC-101, DNP3.0, Modbus, etc., is required.
- Familiarity with cyber security measures and IT networking is necessary.
- Programmable Logic Controllers (preferably Siemens platforms using SIMATIC TDC) are also required.
- Knowledge of SICAM Device Manager/Tool box, WinCC, HMI is preferred.
- Knowledge of SICAM A8000 Hardware and its configuration is also desired.
- Traveling to sites, some of which are in remote locations, may be required.
- Commissioning the FACTS installations at site in India and abroad is a key responsibility.
- You should be prepared to travel at short notice and spend 5-6 months continuously at site.
