Job Description">

We are seeking a skilled professional to undertake finite element analysis (FEA) for welded structures. The successful candidate will have good experience of FEA, meshing, results interpretation with a strong structural understanding.

  • Conduct FEA or other structural/thermal analysis, including static or dynamic stress analysis, modal analysis, and fatigue analysis.
  • Identify potential critical challenges and failure modes by collaborating with other engineering teams to identify risks.
  • Make recommendations to improve the functional performance and reliability of products.
  • Work with test engineers to perform verification and validation of simulation results.
  • Develop and conduct FEA simulations to verify appropriateness of test methods.
Key Competencies">
  • Excellent understanding of fundamental mechanics and structural finite element analysis (FEA).
  • Experience with Ansys workbench CAE software.
  • Ability to differentiate and utilize both system and subsystem analysis techniques to evaluate complex interactions.
  • Ability to define DOE's and analyze the influence of design parameters to optimize product design for a given application.
