Job Title

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to join our team as a Structured Finance Analyst.

About the Role

The primary responsibility of this position is to collaborate closely with clients to understand their investment deal requirements in structured finance. Key responsibilities include onboarding client portfolios, risk monitoring, and financial analysis. The role also involves mentoring team members and improving process efficiencies.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Onboard client portfolios by reviewing legal agreements and interpreting servicer or trustee reports
  • Collaborate with clients on risk and exposure monitoring of transactions
  • Monitor and calculate key metrics such as covenants, concentration limits, and borrowing base calculations
  • Assist in daily operations and ensure accurate and timely deliverables
  • Liaise with the Business Analyst team to ensure data accuracy on proprietary platforms
  • Mentor junior team members to improve learning curve
  • Provide enhanced surveillance to clients on their portfolios and share critical performance aspects proactively
  • Standardize and streamline processes to increase efficiency and set up SOPs around deliverables
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess a broad understanding of structured finance products and corporate credit landscape. Additionally, they should have an in-depth understanding of core financial and accounting concepts. Proficiency in financial modeling using MS Excel is also required. Other essential skills include working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, strong communication skills, and ability to work well under pressure to meet strict deadlines. A graduate degree in finance (MBA or advanced degree) is highly desirable. Prior experience of at least 3-5 years in an Investment Bank, Investment Management firm, or Financial Advisory firm is preferred.
