Job Description

The role of Tender Manager is pivotal in ensuring the timely and effective submission of bids according to company requirements.

  • Bid Preparation: Prepare and submit bids on time, ensuring they meet all necessary specifications and guidelines.
  • GeM Portal Management: Create and manage the company's profile on the Government E-Marketplace (GeM) portal, facilitating seamless registration and onboarding processes for products and services.
  • Tender Opportunities: Monitor and identify tender opportunities from Central & State Government and PSUs, driving sales and exploring business development opportunities through the GeM platform.
Key Responsibilities
  • Product/Service Catalog Management: Maintain and update the product/service catalog in the GeM portal, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  • Bid Submission: Submit bids, including bunch bid, reverse bid, custom bid, and normal bid as applicable, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Prepare and ensure compliance with bidding process documentation, guaranteeing adherence to regulatory norms.
  • Pre-Bid Meetings: Support pre-bid meetings and represent the organization effectively, fostering strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Portal Setup and Management: Set up and manage the GeM portal, addressing technical troubleshooting issues as needed.
  • Knowledge and Compliance: Ensure knowledge and compliance of Q3, E1, Q1 product published norms, staying up-to-date with industry developments and regulations.

  • Communication and Coordination: Possess strong communication and coordination skills, working effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Independence and Deadlines: Exhibit ability to work independently, handling multiple deadlines and priorities with ease.
  • Technical Knowledge: Possess good knowledge of online systems and tendering processes, staying informed about industry trends and best practices.
  • Educational Background: Hold a Chemistry or Technical background, preferably B.Sc/M.Sc Chemistry or B.Tech, providing a solid foundation for this role.
Requirements
  • Chemistry or Technical Background: Hold a degree in Chemistry or a related Technical field.
  • Online Systems and Tendering Processes: Possess good knowledge of online systems and tendering processes, including e-commerce platforms and bidding software.
  • Communication and Coordination: Demonstrate strong communication and coordination skills, working effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
