Job Title: Branch Director
Department: Sales, Business Development & Team Leadership

Reporting to: Cluster Head or Regional Manager
Academic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Work Experience Required
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in the equity market.
- At least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
Team Management Responsibilities
- Lead a team of minimum 10+ members.
Key Responsibilities and Objectives
1. Business Development & Revenue Growth Strategies
- Drive branch revenue through equity trading, third-party product sales, and new client acquisition.
- Develop and implement business strategies to achieve sales targets and branch profitability.
- Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities across financial products (Mutual Funds, Insurance, PMS, Structured Products, Fixed Income instruments).
2. Branch Operations and Management Best Practices
- Manage day-to-day branch operations to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory standards, and risk guidelines.
- Monitor operational efficiency and address process gaps proactively.
3. Team Leadership & People Management Skills
- Lead, mentor, and motivate equity dealers, relationship managers, and branch staff.
- Set performance goals, conduct reviews, and ensure continuous learning through training.
- Build a collaborative, performance-driven culture focused on results.
4. Client Relationship Management Techniques
- Build and maintain strong relationships with HNIs, Ultra-HNIs, and retail clients.
- Provide personalized investment solutions, timely advice, and superior client service.
- Address client concerns and feedback to enhance satisfaction and retention.
5. Market Analysis and Advisory Support
- Stay updated on equity market trends, macroeconomic outlook, and corporate developments.
- Provide actionable market insights to clients and team members.
- Support clients with portfolio diversification, asset allocation, and risk management strategies.
6. Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure strict adherence to regulatory standards and industry best practices.
- Monitor trading activities and mitigate risks.
- Conduct regular audits for operational transparency and compliance.
