Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Strategic Finance Director to drive the strategic and operational leadership of finance functions for banquet and catering businesses. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance, profitability, and process excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, management information systems (MIS) reporting, and financial planning for banquet and catering operations.
- Lead and manage accounts payable/receivable, cost control, revenue optimization, and internal controls.
- Review and analyze profit and loss statements, cash flows, and operational metrics specific to banquet and catering projects.
- Ensure statutory compliance with goods and services tax (GST), tax deducted at source (TDS), income tax, and other regulations; coordinate with auditors and tax authorities.
- Implement financial best practices, controls, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems tailored to banqueting/catering.
- Partner with operations and sales teams to plan profitable events, track margins, and control expenses.
- Support leadership in decision-making with clear financial analysis and recommendations.
- Mentor and supervise the finance team; drive a culture of continuous process improvement and financial integrity.
- Manage vendor contracts, payment cycles, and timely disbursements to suppliers and service partners.
- Conduct variance analysis, highlight cost-saving opportunities, and implement corrective actions.
