Looking for a challenging role in the field of Microbiology, we are seeking a highly skilled Scientist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end projects involving liaising with sales, lab, sequencing, and bioinformatics teams as well as clients.

You will review literature for developing molecular methods including NGS based approaches for detection of microbes in clinical specimens, analyze molecular data, interpret results, and generate test reports. Additionally, you will prepare SOPs and validation protocols, support sales and customer service teams for technical queries, present experimental results to senior scientific staff, collaborators, and clients, and participate in technical decisions affecting research and development issues.

We are looking for a professional with 8+ years of experience working in Microbiology, NGS and RT PCR based assays. You should have a PhD in Microbiology and excellent knowledge of scientific technological developments. You will be expected to maintain specimen and DNA/RNA inventory, supervise lab team to manage turnaround times on a day-to-day basis, ensure work does not stop in the lab due to lack of reagents, manage stock requirements and liaison with purchase department, discuss clinical report with clinicians, collaborate and direct research associate staff, and follow CAP and NABL requirements.
