Public Relations Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned professional to manage public relations and client servicing for high-profile clients in the entertainment industry.

This individual will oversee daily operations, develop monthly plans, strategize events, and foster relationships with media, influencers, and bloggers.

  • Manage a portfolio of esteemed clients with confidence and maturity.
  • Represent the company as primary contact for clients, media, and vendors.
  • Nurture strong, positive relationships with clients and media contacts.
  • Take full ownership of client accounts, ensuring familiarity with all relevant details.
  • Handle media interactions, prepare pitch notes, and proactively identify opportunities for client placements.
  • Review and finalize client documentation, including press releases, plans, and reports, in collaboration with a supervisor.
  • Maintain strict adherence to deadlines and deliverables.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, providing updates and insights through various channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Media & Influencer Relations:
    • Represent both the client and the company in all interactions with media and influencers.
    • Analyze trends in traditional and digital media to identify new opportunities for client exposure.
    • Monitor and analyze media coverage of your clients, ensuring comprehensive tracking.
    • Foster positive relationships with media and influencers through regular outreach.
  • Digital & Social Media:
    • Integrate visual communications, social media, and digital channels into client programs effectively.
    • Stay informed on emerging digital trends and technologies, applying them to client strategies as appropriate.
  • Partnerships:
    • Identify and pursue opportunities for client partnerships, sponsorships, and events on an ongoing basis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in PR, preferably in the Entertainment industry.
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent networking and relationship-building abilities.
  • Knowledge of the local market and media landscape.
