Job Title: Business Forecasting Specialist

 

About the Role

The role of a Business Forecasting Specialist is pivotal in ensuring the strategic business goals of our organization are met. As part of our global team, you will work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to create accurate demand plans that drive business growth.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain statistical models to build accurate demand forecasts using historical data and market insights.
  • Lead monthly forecast review meetings to drive consensus across business functions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to align supply and demand.
  • Monitor and analyze forecast accuracy to identify root causes for variances and drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage supply planning activities to ensure product availability while minimizing excess inventory.
  • Leverage ERP and planning tools to create data-driven, actionable plans.
  • Support new product launches, promotions, and seasonal planning with agile forecasting.

 

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain, or Operations (manufacturing/electronics a plus).
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in forecasting tools and ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with global teams and time zones.
