Job Description

As a key member of our team, the Engineering Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical direction of our projects. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the engineering and design aspects of our initiatives, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

">Required Skills and Qualifications

We are seeking an exceptional candidate with a strong background in engineering management. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A postgraduate or graduate degree in an engineering discipline
  • Registration as a professional engineer with the governing authority
  • At least 12-15 years of experience in a multi-disciplinary environment on major projects
  • 3 years of experience in managing design engineering teams working on major projects

Candidates should also possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Ensuring the scope of work is developed and effective change management systems are in place
  2. Providing input into the monthly progress report with respect to design progress and issues of concern
  3. Contribution to the development of the project execution plan together with the project leadership team
  4. Coordination of quality audit verifications to ensure compliance with all relevant engineering standards and internal procedures

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Directing and reviewing engineering activities to ensure satisfactory work quality
  • Coordinating specialist expertise from within the organization or externally as necessary
  • Raising safety awareness and ensuring the application of design for safety principles

Ultimately, the Engineering Manager will be responsible for delivering high-quality results and driving business growth through innovative solutions.
